Homesafe Devon

Homesafe Devon is a promotional branch based near Exeter, where we don’t have kennels, but are able to liaise between various local branches who do, so that we can help you to find the dog you are looking for more easily.

 We aim to promote the adoption of retired racing greyhounds as family pets, and we are happy to help and advise on all aspects of greyhound adoption, care and after-care.

 We are experienced volunteers and are greyhound owners ourselves – although we do have a few volunteers with other breeds who are also a very valuable and welcomed part of our team.

 We hold regular fundraising and promotional events on an annual basis, such as supermarket collections, coffee mornings, and stalls at local markets and fetes – and we are always grateful for any help you may be willing to offer. We also occasionally arrange local group walks, where we get a chance to catch up and chat with each other!

 We are a friendly, welcoming and happy group and really enjoy the volunteering work we do – as well as the satisfaction we gain from knowing we are helping even more of these wonderful dogs to find their forever homes.
